The PROFESSIONAL (1000-007), (or Standard DART GAFF), was designed as a 7' cockpit harpoon, and an alternative to a flying gaff. The DART GAFF is preferred by many "Tuna" and "Shark" fisherman because you can "Stick" the fish in the head or shoulder and save valuable meat. (A gaff or flying gaff is normally sunk into the stomach or side of a fish.) It stows away in 5' of space when broken down. So-Lo Harpoon Handles FLOAT.
